Campbellsville, TN USA
Campbellsville
is not a forgotten community, nor is it a community that has forgotten its
past. Established during Giles County’s infancy, Campbellsville has survived
as a community for two centuries, experiencing the ebb and flow of events
that changed the nation and the world. Yet, the peaceful hamlet nestled
beneath the tall hills of the Southern Highland Rim, surrounded with broad
fields of rich, brown soil and nourished by the deep waters of Big Creek, has
remained unchanged in its pride, beauty and hospitable nature. The
Campbellsville Area Association hosts an annual Heritage Festival, erected a
marker on the Civil War Trail, developed a
driving tour (free map download at http://campbellsvilletn.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2013-04-05T11:16:00-05:00) and holds
other community events to bring people to the small town throughout the year. |
