NOTICE: The Campbellsville Area Association will meet at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall of Campbellsville United Methodist Church. This is an important meeting at which we will be electing officers and planning the 2012 calendar. We appreciate your interest in Campbellsville and the CAA and would like to have you share your ideas with us at all our meetings. A follow-up meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12 at the Campbellsville Library. You are invited to attend one or both meetings. Everyone with an interest in Campbellsville is urged to attend.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS IN CAMPBELLSVILLE SCHEDULE OF CAMPBELLSVILLE EVENTS FOR JANUARY 2012 Eatin's good at Inman's Stop & Chat Market just off the square in Campbellsville!!!        Breakfast all day every day, seven days a week!!!       Monday thru Thursday -- Delicious Plate Lunches!!!       Friday Lunch -- Great Sandwiches!!!       Friday Nights -- Steak & Fish Plates!!! Inman's Stop & Chat Dining Room seats more than 50 hungry folks.  And, they serve great meals for groups.  Just phone them at 363-1881 and set up the next outing for your class, club, reunion, or other group.      While you're here, you can see the Campbellsville spring where, more than 200 years ago, Crockett Campbell's dogs treed a bear.  Never heard whether Mr. Campbell killed the bear, but assume he did since we've never seen it around here.  Come to think of it, we've never seen Mr. Campbell or his dogs either!       The fine folks at the Stop & Chat always have a big welcome for you and appreciate your business.  Y'all come stop and chat with 'em. Walls Lumber and Hardware has some great buys during January, and, for that matter, all year 'round.  They're not hard to find.  On Campbellsville's south side near the city limits.  Can't miss 'em! JANUARY 8, SUNDAY:    The Campbellsville Area Association will meet at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall of Campbellsville United Methodist Church. They were not yet certain as to when they could come.  Please phone 363-1881 nearer the dates in question for clarification.  JANUARY 21, SATURDAY:    The Campbellsville Area Association Pancake Breakfast will be the at Memorial Hall of Campbellsville United Methodist Church. Times are 7:00 – 9:30. JANUARY 27, FRIDAY: ??? No entertainment scheduled at this time, but maybe....	The 2011 Festival was a HUGE success!!

     If you were a member of the Campbellsville Area Association in 2010 and HAVE NOT YET PAID YOU DUES FOR 2011, we ask you to do so as soon as possible.  MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE ONLY $5 PER YEAR PER PERSON.  This small amount helps us promote Campbellsville, our hometown -- your hometown -- even if only in small ways such as this e-mail notification.  And, IF YOU WERE NOT A MEMBER LAST YEAR, WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU AS A NEW MEMBER. 
We value your ideas and input and, if time permits, your help in various efforts would be appreciated.

Where in the World is Campbellsville, Tennessee?

        The small village of Campbellsville is located in Middle Tennessee, the North Western part of Giles County about half-way between Columbia, TN to the North and Pulaski, TN to the South. State Route #166 goes through the village and is known as Brownlow Creek Road. The village has two main streets, usually known as Low Street and High Street.

       To get to Campbellsville from Columbia, TN, drive South on Campbellsville Pike (Hwy. 245) about 21 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 245 and 166. Take Hwy 166 South about 2 miles to down town Campbellsville. To get there from Pulaski, TN, drive West on Hwy 64 about 2.5 miles until you come to the Wales Station Road (Hwy. 166). Drive North on 166 about 12 miles to Campbellsville.
